At some point, every product gets moved by trucks, whether it’s building supplies, children’s toys or the food we eat. That’s why Craig Willett and his team at Bailey Western Star & Freightliner Trucks work so hard to provide the best possible services and transport solutions.
Bailey Western Star & Freightliner is a full-service truck dealership dedicated to professionals in the transportation industry and specializing in on/off-highway truck and trailer parts, sales and service. Locally owned, the Campbell River business has been serving Vancouver Island’s trucking and equipment industry for the past 37 years.
“We’re much more than just a dealership,” says Craig. “Not only do we provide our customers with top-quality Western Star, Sterling and Freightliner truck and trailer sales, we also offer complete after care, service and warranty repairs from one of the largest truck parts departments on Vancouver Island.”
Additionally, the technicians at Bailey Western Star & Freightliner Trucks are fully certified for servicing Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel and Mercedes Benz diesel engines.
Known for giving back to the community, Bailey Western Star & Freightliner proudly supports many local foundations, projects and sports teams each year, including the Campbell River Hospice Society, Cameryn’s Cause and the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
It came as little surprise, then, when the company was named Small Business of the Year for 2014 by the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce and Automotive/Truck Dealer of the Year for 2015 by Business Examiner Vancouver Island.
“It all comes down to the people who work here,” Craig says. “Everything we do is a result of our great employees.”
With a staff of 21, including seven trained service technicians, five trained parts personnel and one road parts person, Craig notes that everyone on his team goes that extra mile to keep their customers on the road.
“We wouldn’t be where we are today without our loyal and valued employees,” he says. “And none of us would be where we are without the support of our loyal customers.”
